Research Director | Media & Tech
Salary | £65,000 - £85,000 + (depending on experience) plus PROFIT SHARE

THE ROLE & COMPANY | We are looking for Research Director (with an appreciation of qual and online!) to join a fantastic boutique agency with an enviable client list of cool tech and media brands. If you are excited about brand, comms & innovation research, then this is a dream market research job for you! You will work with a mixture of AD-HOC ONLY online quant & qual methodologies including real-time mobile data and digital communities. Interest in Media and Tech sectors will be highly desirable (but we will consider classically trained Research Directors from other areas who'd love to make a switch to the brand, media and tech-driven work). The role is ideal if you wish to work for an ambitious and growing agency that has embraced digital technology from inception! You’ll have an active role in growing the business and people management. A significant position if you are disillusioned with being a part of a ‘big machine’ and want something smaller, leaner and more consultative!
ABOUT YOU | You are ideally agency trained quant or quant/qual Research Director looking for a new challenge at a boutique, full-service, mix-methods and digitally driven market research agency. You would love to get involved with a variety of big-name client accounts within media/tech and beyond (ask us about some recent exciting additions to their clients' portfolio!). You are also keen to work on a variety of smaller ad-hoc projects (they work with many exciting start-ups and have recently completed a project for a new, wearable device company launching their product!). Proven project and people management skills are essential. You’ve got fantastic proposal writing skills and can contribute effectively to client pitches / lead pitches for smaller & larger projects. This highly ambitious agency love researchers who dare being independent, have an entrepreneurial spirit and do not shy away from managing integrated, mix-methods projects. You’ll have a chance to shape the team’s success with your creativity, ideas and cast-iron research and commercial skills. You’re committed to high quality, intelligent and impactful research that has been proven to make a real difference to your clients. A successful Research Director will be open to new ideas, flexible and collaborative - able to see the big picture while valuing attention to detail.
